How Do I Apply My Signature by Entering a PIN?

I would like to be able to sign my name by entering a PIN. 

Environment

Kipu EMR, All Users, Manage Your User Profile

Resolution

To create a PIN which allows you to automatically apply a signature to your notes when you enter it, complete the following steps.

  1. Click on your initials and select Profile.

  2. Enter your password to continue.mceclip6.png
  3. Check off the Sign with PIN box.  mceclip3.png
    • Next, input a pin value. This is the number you’ll use when signing documentation.  
    • Click on the Signature button. 
  4. In the Add Signature window, draw your signature. When you’re satisfied, click Submit.

  5. Now, each time you sign a document with your PIN, the created signature will be automatically added to the document.

  6. When done, click Update to ensure that your changes are saved.
