Issue
I would like to be able to sign my name by entering a PIN.
Environment
Kipu EMR, All Users, Manage Your User Profile
Resolution
To create a PIN which allows you to automatically apply a signature to your notes when you enter it, complete the following steps.
- Click on your initials and select Profile.
- Enter your password to continue.
- Check off the Sign with PIN box.
- Next, input a pin value. This is the number you’ll use when signing documentation.
- Click on the Signature button.
- In the Add Signature window, draw your signature. When you’re satisfied, click Submit.
- Now, each time you sign a document with your PIN, the created signature will be automatically added to the document.
- When done, click Update to ensure that your changes are saved.
