Templates: MAT Orders

  • Updated

MAT Order Templates streamline the order entry process by allowing users to build and manage reusable templates for medication-assisted treatment (MAT) orders.

Required Permissions: Super Admins, Records Admins, or users with the Manage Template or Edit Templates feature assigned to their profile can create and manage templates.

  1. On the MAT Orders tab, click + New MAT Order.
  2. Complete all required fields marked with an asterisk (*).
  3. Select a Location from the drop-down list.
    • Note: If you are in the My Locations view, you will see only the locations enabled in your user profile.
  4. Type the template name in the Name field.
  5. Fill out any optional fields you want to include in the template.
  6. Select a phase from the drop-down list.
  7. Choose a medication. The Route, Dosage Form, and Strength fields will auto-fill.

Set On-Site Schedule

  1. You can set on-site schedules using Day and Week options.
    • Day: Set the week drop-down to Day for daily onsite dosing.
    • Week: Set the interval (e.g., every 1 or 2 weeks) and select the applicable weekdays.
  2. Enter the dose amount.
  3. If needed, click Add Split to divide the dose for multiple administrations in one day.
  4. Add notes, if needed.
  5. Set the status to Enabled and click Save.
  6. The new MAT order template appears in the Template list, which includes Name, Location, Order Type, Phase, Last Modified By, Status, and Actions columns.

Copy a Template

Follow these instructions to copy a template:

  1. Click the Copy icon next to an existing template.
  2. Rename the template.
  3. Select a location from the drop-down list.
    • Note: Only locations enabled in your user profile appear in the list.
  4. Click Copy.

After Copying a Template

  • If the selected location matches your current one, the system opens the edit view.
  • If it’s a different location, a green confirmation message appears. Switch to the selected location to enable the template.
