ZING® integrates with Kipu inventory and labeling workflows while maintaining existing system behavior. Nurses continue to follow the same processes for inventory, returns, and corrections while the dose assembly system handles dose preparation.
Note: ZING® is a paid add-on not included in standard Kipu subscriptions. Reach out to your client success manager to learn more about pricing, requirements, and how to enable this integration for your facility.
Inventory Behavior

- Doses are deducted from the assigned bottle.
- Remaining inventory is visible in real time.
- Bottle levels reflect usage from ZING®.
- First, click on the Inventory tab in the header.
- Add the desired medication and click Search.
- Next, click on the medication title to open the transaction.
- The system displays the dispensed transactions completed by the ZING® bottle.
Note: ZING® typically uses a larger methadone bottle than a standard pump.
