The Kipu RCM Konnector ensures that the data in the Kipu EMR is routed to the correct facility in the RCM with the appropriate rendering provider.
Important: Each RCM Facility must have its own Konnector set up in the Kipu EMR.
Example configuration options:
- One to One: 2 Kipu Locations and 2 RCM Facilities = 2 Konnectors
- One to Many: 1 Kipu Location and 2 RCM Facilities = 2 Konnectors. In this instance, Bill by Program or Bill by Building will need to be configured as well on the Kipu side to ensure the patient information is routed to the correct RCM Facility.
- Many to One: 3 Kipu Locations and 1 RCM Facility = 1 Konnector.
