Treatment Episodes: Documentation by Location, Level of Care, or Program

  • Updated

Treatment Episodes allow you to filter documentation by Location, Level of Care, or Program. Use the filter columns to narrow down the evaluation forms visible on the screen. These filters apply to all tabs that display forms associated with Treatment Episodes, excluding schedules. Filtering by Location, Level of Care (LOC), and Program help improve visibility when navigating tabs with a large number of evaluation forms. These filters help streamline the review process and makes it easier to manage large volumes of form data.

Let’s review each filter and how it works.

  • Location: Filter by the site location associated with the Treatment Episode.
  • Level of Care: Filter by level of care linked to the corresponding Treatment Episode.
  • Program: Filter to view the Program associated with the Treatment Episode.

Use the Location Filter

Follow these steps to apply the Location filter:

  1. Click the Locations field.
  2. Select a location to only view forms from that location.

Use the Level of Care Filter

To filter forms by Level of Care:

  1. Click the Level of Care option.
  2. Choose the appropriate LOC to narrow the list to matching forms.

Use the Program Filter

To filter by Program:

  1. Click the Program option.
  2. Select the desired program to display relevant forms.

Note: The Forms page preserves your filter selections as you navigate between tabs, allowing you to maintain your view context when switching between different form types.

Instance Setting: Show LoC and Program Filters

An instance-level setting added under Treatment Episodes control the visibility of Level of Care (LoC) and Program filters and columns on Patient Form tabs. This setting allows organizations to determine whether these filters are available to users.

Required Permission: Super Admins.

When Enabled (Checked): LoC and Program filters and their corresponding columns display for all Treatment Episodes users (current system behavior).

When Disabled (Unchecked): the LoC and Program filters are removed from the UI and the related columns no longer appear on Patient Form tabs, providing greater flexibility for instances that do not require this filtering.

Follow the steps below to enable LOC and Program filters.

  1. Click on your Initials in the header and select Settings.

  2. Select the Instance tab.

  3. Scroll down and check the Show LoC and Program Filters option.

  4. Click Update to save your changes.
