Easily keep track of patients looking for appointments by adding them to the Scheduler's waitlist. This helps you respond to patient needs faster, manage revenue by keeping your calendars full, and schedule smarter by understanding popular days/times and adjust schedules to meet demand. To use the waitlist, it must be enabled in your Scheduler Preferences.
Adding Patients to the Waitlist
If you attempt to schedule an appointment with a Resource who is already booked for that timeslot, you will receive a warning message asking if you’d like to add the appointment to the waitlist.
Viewing Waitlisted Appointments
The number of waitlisted appointments for the provider and time will display as a number on the waitlist icon in the List View or as a clock icon in the Scheduler and Resource views. In this example, there is only one waitlisted appointment for that provider/date/time combination.

Waitlisted appointments display the Waitlist status icon on the Calendar or Resource Day view.
Schedule Waitlisted Appointments
To schedule a waitlisted appointment, open the appointment card and change the appointment status from Waitlisted to a different status.
Note: The appointment slot must be available for the appointment to be scheduled using the available statuses (e.g., the other appointment(s) have been canceled or rescheduled).
The available statuses are configured in the Appointment Status Settings.
