MAT Inventory and Pumps Scenarios

Kipu EMR supports three different scenarios for MAT pump dispensing:

Scenario 1

• Automatic pumps are set up through Settings > Konnectors. Click here to learn more.
• Medications are opened, closed, and managed through the Pump screens. Click here to learn more.

Scenario 2

• Manual Pumps (Automatic pump Konnector set to Manual). Click here to learn more and review the Update Pump Mode (Manual/Automatic) section. 
• Medications are checked in/out and managed through the Pump screens. Click here to learn more.

Scenario 3 (Manual Pumps without Konnector)

• The pump screen is disabled or not configured in the Kipu. Medications are opened, closed, and managed directly through the bottle in the Facility Inventory. Click here to learn more.
