The Queue feature allows staff to check patients in and out, track waiting times in each queue, complete documents, medicate patients, change orders, and complete other actions to expedite their workflows. It can also help facilities increase efficiency and identify areas that need improvements.

- Important: Patients with orders entered on the current day will not be added to the Expected list until the next day (at the earliest) or the start date of their MAT Order (if not the next day). These patients may show in the Completed list without being included in the Expected list if they are dosed on the first day of the active MAT Order.

Other Queue Actions
-
To pause a patient’s time in the queue, click the Pause button. Queues can be paused for many reasons like refilling medication, cleaning up a spill, etc.
-
Once the patient has paused, click on the Play Icon to restart the counter.
- To begin processing a patient, click the Start button.
-
The Resume button appears after a staff member clicks on the Start button to process a patient. Only the staff member who started processing the patient, or any Super Admin, can click on the Resume button to finalize processing the patient. This feature prevents user errors and ensures that the patient is not medicated by a staff member other than a Super Admin or the user who initially started the process.

This screen allows you to complete the transactions below without having to leave the Queues screen.

- Open a new medication and enter the remaining quantity.
