Clinical Documentation Report (CDR) Tab

Super Admins can create PDF packages of clinical documentation that connected Lab Interfaces can access. This helps reduce the need for the lab partner to reach out to the facility and request printed documentation from the patient chart. 

Because these packages are set up on a per-laboratory basis, each connected lab can have its own standard documentation package. Once these packages are created, the lab can pull these forms electrically from the lab interface for the patient in question.

Note: The lab can only request documentation for patients that have had testing completed by that specific lab. This documentation is typically to help assist the lab with billing the patient's insurance company. 

Create a Lab PDF Package

Lab PDF Packages are the same as creating standard PDF Packages aside from selecting the Lab from the drop-down. 

1. Click on your initials and choose PDF Packages.
   
2. From the PDF Packages tab, click New.
3. Create your PDF package and select the desired Lab from the drop-down and locations if applicable.

4. Select the desired forms. Below is a list of form types commonly requested by labs.
   

   Assignment of Benefits / Release of Medical Information Bio-psychosocial Assessment  Case Management Assessment Case Management Note Case Management Treatment Plan Clinical Progress Note History and Physical Individualized Treatment Plan

   Initial Aftercare Plan Initial Psychiatric Evaluation Initial Treatment Plan Manage Clinical LOC Manage Recurring Assessments  Medical Progress Note Nursing Discharge Note Nursing Re-Assessment Nursing Screen & Assessment Pre-Admission Assessment

   Pre-Admission Assessment Progress Note Psychiatric Discharge Order and Note Release of Confidential Information Self Preservation Statement Statement of Financial Responsibility Treatment Plan Review

5. When done, click Save PDF Package at the bottom of the screen.

6. Once the PDF package is completed, the lab will have access to pull these documentation packages along with the MNDR in Kipu Labs. 

View Requested Packages on the CDR Tab

The CDR tab allows users to view and download the packages requested by the lab. 

1. Click on your initials and choose CDR.
   
2. You can review each pulled package by clicking on the Link.
