CollaborateMD: Retrieve HL7 Messages (Claims and Demographics)

There are various methods to retrieve charges sent from the Kipu EMR to CollaborateMD.

Interface Tracker

Interface Tracker empowers you to oversee and monitor all interface messages received from the Kipu EMR within CollaborateMD. Obtain insights into the reasons behind the failure of messages related to patient demographics and claims, learn corrective measures, and prevent recurrence.

Dashboard

Use the Charges Not Billed Dashboard to efficiently drill down into charges awaiting billing to insurance, including those marked as Waiting for Review and Incomplete.

Status Control

With Status Control, you can update the claim status or conduct a review for multiple claims simultaneously. When charges are transmitted from the Kipu EMR to CollaborateMD, they enter a status of Waiting for Review or Incomplete.

1. Waiting for Review: The Claim/Charge(s) requires review, and the status must be updated before submission to the payer. Claims generated through an interface will remain in this status.

2. Incomplete: The Claim is incomplete and won't leave the system. Claims automatically assume this status if the required fields in the claim or patient record are missing.

   Note: Users cannot manually set a charge to the Incomplete status.
