If you are experiencing difficulties logging in, start by resetting your password.
Kipu will train and advise your organization on user management, however, for the protection of our clients and the PHI in your instance, Kipu will not add, edit, enable or disable user profiles.
Lock Out Period
After 6 failed login attempts, Kipu will lock your user profile. Reset your password using the instructions below to regain immediate access to your account. Otherwise, you can wait 30 minutes for your account to automatically unlock or you contact your organization’s Super Admin to unlock your profile.
How to Reset Your Password
- Note: Users with access to multiple instances should first verify the facility URL where they need to log in before requesting the "forgot password" link. This ensures you are logging into the correct instance based on the request. If you have the same email across multiple instances, please apply the same email and password combination to each instance.
-
From the login page of your Kipu instance, click on Forgot Password? link.
-
Enter the email address associated with your EMR account and click Send ME Reset Password Instructions.
-
You will receive an email from support (support@kipusystems.com) with a "Kipu Reset password instructions" subject line. Click on Change my password link in the email and follow the instructions.
-
Create a new password and confirm. Passwords must be at least 8 characters, have an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a number, and cannot have been used within the previous year.
-
Click Change my password.
- If you have access to more than one EMR instance and use the same email address to log into those instances, your password will be automatically changed across those instances. Use your new password to log in to all instances.
-
If successful, you’ll be logged in and have the following success message displayed on the Patients tab.
