Manage Your User Profile

Manage your Kipu EMR user profile from the Profile tab. From this section, you can:

  • Change your password.
  • Update your two-factor authentication information.
  • Configure your account to sign documents with a PIN.
  • Set a default sign-in location.  

Edit Your Profile

  1. Click on your initials and select Profile.

  2. Enter your Password to continue. If you don’t know your password, follow these instructions to create a new password. mceclip6.png
  3. Review your information and make adjustments as needed. mceclip5.png
    1. Note: If the "Allow users to update profile demographics" feature is disabled under Settings > Instance, unless you are a super admin, or have Manage Features enabled on your user, you will only be able to view and edit your password and PIN signature options.

  5. To update your two-factor authentication method, adjust the security access drop-down. mceclip4.png
    • If you choose text message, please ensure you have a valid cell phone number added to your profile in the Mobile field.  
  6. To enable Sign with PIN, which allows you to automatically apply a signature to your notes by entering your pin value, check the related box.  mceclip3.png
    • Next, input a Pin value. This is the number you’ll use when signing documentation.  
    • Click on the Signature button. 
    • In the Add Signature window, draw your signature. When you’re satisfied, click Submit. mceclip2.png
    • Now, each time you sign a document with your PIN, the created signature will be automatically added to the document.

  7. For users with access to more than one Location, you can use the Default location drop-down to automatically set which Location you’ll be automatically logged into each time you sign in. mceclip0.png
  8. When done, click Update to ensure your changes are saved.
