Each Kipu EMR Client has their own unique EMR URL that is configured during implementation.
Your Kipu EMR Instance is a unique cloud-based application that is accessible via a web browser. Once populated, your Instance will house your client data. Your unique URL will look like:

- Additionally, when you first log into Kipu, we highly recommend that you enable Kipu notifications in your browser so that you will receive notifications before you are timed out due to inactivity.
- When you first log in, you will see the following notification. Click Enable.
- Note: If you select Not Now, you can enable notifications at a later date by clearing your browser's cache and logging in again.
- Then click Allow when your browser asks you if you want to let Kipu show notifications.
- Note: If you do not enable notifications, you will be silently logged out of your instance after 15 minutes of inactivity.
Logging Out of Your Instance
You can log out of (or be logged out of) Kipu in two ways.
- You can manually log out of your instance by clicking on your initials, and then selecting Sign Out in the menu.
- You will be automatically logged out of all instance windows after 15 minutes of complete inactivity (meaning you haven't typed, moved your mouse, interacted with notifications, etc. in 15 minutes).
- If you have notifications enabled, after 14 minutes, the system will notify you on every tab and are going to be timed out. At this time, any unfinished text will be saved in all tabs.
- If you select Keep Working, the system will remove the timeout warning from all tabs and refresh the timeout clock. If you do not take any action, or click Sign Out Now, you will be logged out in every tab.
- If you have notifications enabled, after 14 minutes, the system will notify you on every tab and are going to be timed out. At this time, any unfinished text will be saved in all tabs.
If you click Sign Out or Sign Out Now in error, you will see the following notification and will have five seconds to click Click Here to Keep Working.
