Helix: Login

  • Updated

This feature is currently in limited release to a select group of clients and will be rolling out to everyone in the coming months.

Kipu is evolving towards a unified platform experience in Helix, and as part of the process, we are updating the login workflow. This workflow currently provides a single entry point for users who have access to more than one EMR URL. But more importantly, it lays the groundwork for a single login for the full Kipu suite of products (EMR, RCM, CRM, etc.) which will be rolling out through 2026.

When your instance switches to Helix, or if you navigate to kipuworks.com, you will see the following login path. Your login information will remain the same.

  1. Enter your email address or username and click Continue.
  2. Then enter your password and click Sign In. If your facility uses 2Factor Authentication, expand the header below for instructions.

    • If your facility has two-step authentication enabled, you'll need to set up authentication.
      1. Click Continue
      2. Your authentication code will be sent to your email address. When you receive the code, enter it and click Verify Code

      3. Click Continue
  3. If you only have access to one EMR instance, or if you have logged in through your direct EMR instance URL, you'll be taken directly to that instance. Otherwise, you will be taken to the Helix dashboard. Click on EMR to continue.

    • At this time, clicking on the other options, CRM, RCM, Labs, and Compliance will take you to their login windows. Their login information remains the same. Over time, we will be incorporating the other platforms into Helix and clicking on them from the dashboard will not require additional login.
  4. If you have access to more than one EMR instance, you can pick which one you want to open by clicking Launch. Otherwise, you'll be taken directly to the instance.
  5. The landing page of the instance remains the Patients tab.
  6. To switch to other instances or applications, click the box icon in the top left corner.
