The Abort button becomes available when the Prime Medication process occurs. It can be used to immediately stop pump activity.
Tips: Empty Cleaning Solution & Prime Medication
Empty Cleaning Solution: The Empty Cleaning Solution button becomes available when the Last Status is set to Prime Cleaning Solution or Setup. Selecting this button reverses the prime liquid back into the bottle, clearing the tubing before use. If no medication is associated with the pump, the Check Out Medication button will appear instead. Selecting it takes you to the Change Bottle screen, where you can check out a new medication bottle.
Prime Medication: The Prime Medication button becomes available when the Last Status is not Prime Cleaning Solution and medication has already been checked out. During priming, the Abort button appears and can be used to immediately stop pump activity. Once priming is complete, dispensing becomes available, ensuring medication flows correctly and safely.
