This article provides a complete overview of the Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Order and Dispensing workflow. It is designed to guide staff through the recommended daily process for creating, dispensing, and managing MAT orders.
While MAT orders can be created directly from a patient’s chart, the recommended workflow is to create and manage orders from the Queues tab, which allows staff to more efficiently review and process patient medication activities.
Following this recommended workflow helps ensure accurate medication management, proper documentation, and efficient daily MAT operations.
Required Permissions: Super Admins, Records Admin, Doctors, and Nurses.
