How to download an 837 file from CollaborateMD

Issue

After transmitting charges to the payer from CollaborateMD, download the 837 file to confirm the electronic transmission.

Environment

CollaborateMD, Users with the Claim File (837) Download permission,

Location - Claim>Claim Tracker

Resolution

Follow these steps to download the 837 electronic file:

1. Navigate to Claim > Claim Tracker in CollaborateMD.

2. Select Download Reports, then choose Claim Files (837) from the drop-down menu.

3. Make the necessary selections and click Search.

4. To download files:

• Check the Filename box to select all files, or
• Check individual boxes for specific files.

5. Click Download Claim Files (837).

6. Locate the downloaded ZIP file on your computer. (Files can typically be opened in Notepad for review.)
