How Do I Update My Browser?

Issue

I need to update my web browser and I don't know how.

Environment

Kipu, Web Browsers

Resolution

Please follow the instructions below for Google Chrome and Firefox.

Google Chrome 

If you use Google Chrome on your computer, follow these instructions.

1. At the top right of the browser window, click the vertical ellipsis.
   
   
2. Click Help.
   
3. Click About Google Chrome.
4. If your Chrome is not up to date, it will automatically begin to update
5. Click Relaunch once it finishes. 

Firefox

If you use Firefox on your computer, follow these instructions.

1. Open Firefox and click the menu icon on the top right.
   
2. Click Help.
   
3. Click About Firefox.
   
4. A popup will appear and Firefox will process available updates.
5. Click Relaunch once it finishes. 

Cause

Many issues can often be resolved by updating your browser or clearing your cookies and cache.
