When a patient makes a payment using the Patient Payment Portal, how can I track and/or see those payment details within CMD?

When a patient makes a payment in the portal, payments will be applied to the oldest charges that are set to Balance Due Patient and/or the oldest payment plan installment(s) based on the due date.

You can follow the below steps to track patient payments by a specific patient by following the below steps:
- Go to the Patient tab on the left-hand side of CollaborateMD.
- Select Manage Account.
- Select a patient to review the payment details.
- You can scroll through here to view any payments that have been made and applied to any DOS on their Transaction Listing and under Activity.
- Alternatively, you can scroll down to Payment History and you will see all the payments that have been made by the patient.
Reports
Use the Merchant Payments Report to run a general report of all patient payments made via the Patient Payment Portal.
- Go to the Reports tab on the left-hand side of CollaborateMD.
- Select Viewer.
- Uncheck the Custom Reports built by box at the bottom of this section.
- Search for the report titled Merchant Payments, which will be found in the Management Reports folder.
- Enter the filter set you would like to search by.
- Select Run Report.
