Inventory: Labels

When using both Facility Inventory and Patient Inventory, you can print labels for the blister packs used in the facility to dispense the medication for the patients.

Requirements

Print Label

You can print labels directly from the Patient Chart or from the Patient Inventory page. 

Patient Chart

  1. Open Doctor's Order or Med Log tab on the patient chart. mceclip1.png
  2. Click on Patient Inventory link for the medication you'd like to label. mceclip5.png

Patient Inventory

  1. Navigate to Inventory > Patients.mceclip3.png
  2. Filter out the patient in question.
  3. Click on the medication you want to print the label for.

Print the Label

  1. From the medication's inventory page, click on the Label icon. It might take a few moments for the icon to appear after accessing this page.mceclip4.png
  2. Click on the icon to generate the label. You can print the label using your Dymo printer, the same way you print Lab labels.

  3. Apply the printed label to the medication.
