What's Changed:
- Organized Tabs: Settings are now grouped into five tabs (General, Calendar View, Workflow View, Appointment, Communication) instead of one long scrolling page
- Easier Navigation: Find what you need faster with related settings grouped together
- Modern Interface: Updated design built on modern technology for better performance
Tab Organization:
- General: Display settings, scheduling rules, and time block configurations
- Calendar View: Calendar preferences, drag & drop settings, and activity color schemes
- Workflow View: Workflow lane management and status alert/alarm timings
- Appointment: Waitlist, telehealth, and cancellation settings
- Communication: Location-based communication setup
No Action Required: All existing preferences are automatically preserved in the new interface. Your current configuration will display exactly as you set it. Check out this article for more information.

Kipu BI: Kipu Intelligence License Alliance Report - February 19, 2026
We’re excited to introduce the first Kipu Intelligence Report: License Allocation!
This report gives you clear visibility into license usage across your organization, including how many licenses have been purchased, how many are assigned, and which users they’re assigned to.
You can find the report under Reports > Kipu BI > Kipu Intelligence.
What you can do with this report
Use filters to quickly answer common questions, such as:
Does John Smith have two licenses or three? Filter by Name of User.
Who has a Chart Snapshot license? Filter by License Type.
Which users can update prompts for Note Assistant? Filter by Permissions.
Who was included in the original license batch before later increases? Filter by Date/Time Assigned.
Important Notes
If you see “No data” for a AI offering, that feature is not enabled for your instance. To learn more about acquiring additional AI features, please contact your Account Executive or Client Success Manager, or email clientservices@kipuhealth.com.
The License Allocation Report is part of the standard dashboards available through our Business Intelligence offering. Please note that special permissions are required to access BI dashboards. You can learn more about formatting users in this article.
Dashboards do not update in real time. Data refreshes occur multiple times during the workweek (3 AM, 9 AM, 1 PM, and 5 PM EST) and twice daily on weekends (3 AM and 3 PM EST). Refresh cycles typically last 4–6 hours, and during the final stages of a refresh, data may be temporarily incomplete or unavailable.
To take actions such as resetting filters or exporting data to CSV, click the three dots ( … ) in the dashboard.

✨ Stay tuned for the Kipu Intelligence Usage Report coming later this year!
15.4.0.0 - February 12, 2026
New
- Billing: Readmit behavior has been updated for locations integrating with Kipu RCM so that insurance from previous EMR charts is not automatically populated in the new EMR chart. This behavior will prevent syncing issues. Users will be able to use the Manage Insurance button in the patient’s EMR facesheet and pull the previous insurance from the new treatment episode in KRCM. For more information on adding and editing insurance information with the RCM integration, check out this article.
- Group Note Assistant: We’ve improved quote behavior to reduce instances where patient quotes appeared unexpectedly at the end of generated output. These updates will also reduce instances where items were formatted as patient quotes when the patient did not explicitly say them. Click here for more information about Group Note Assistant.
- MAT Reconciliation Report: Added the ability to run the report for multiple medications in a single action. Report content for each medication remains unchanged, with each medication displayed on its own page. Signatures apply to all included reports, and printing includes all pages. Check out this article for more information.
-
New MAR: Users must now enter a Void Reason to save a voided administration. Click here for more information about voiding doses.
-
Labs: We have updated Test Result History filters to separate Results to Review (red) and No Outcome (yellow). Previously, Results to Review included both abnormal and N/A results, making the history report less efficient. Check out this article for more information about lab results.
- PDF Exports: We have removed patient flag banners from PDF exports.
Fixed
- Doctor's Orders: Fixed an issue where orders continued to appear on the Dashboard even when Assigned Orders Only was enabled in the Manage Users section. This issue caused unassigned orders to appear for the user and persist on the dashboard even after they were signed. The dashboard now correctly shows only orders assigned to the logged-in user.

New
-
Chart Assistant: Your most recent chat will now automatically reload when you open Chart Assistant, making it easy to navigate around the chart and even move to new tabs without losing your work. You can still start a new chat, rename or search past chats, and delete ones you no longer need. Check out this article for more information.
- Labs: Lab Requisition Due flags will no longer be generated for orders with the As Needed frequency. Check out the Flags section of this article for more information.
-
Labs: To align with Medicare requirements and other payers with similar guidelines, you can now select a primary diagnosis code and secondary diagnosis codes for lab orders. The Primary Dx Code field defaults to the first diagnosis on the facesheet and updates when the patient’s first facesheet code is updated. It can also be set to a specific diagnosis code as needed. Any number of secondary diagnosis codes can be selected from the patient’s established diagnoses. Click here for more information on creating lab orders.
- Note: Some labs may continue to receive all patient diagnosis codes. If your lab wishes to receive Primary/Secondary Dx Codes sooner, please advice them to contact LabTeam@kipusystems.com for integration adjustment.
Fixed
- Facesheet: Fixed an issue where imported patient DOBs were inconsistently reading incorrectly.
- Konnectors (Liquid Dispensing Pump): Fixed an issue where the host name in the konnector didn’t reset after the konnector was disabled.
- Labs: Fixed an issue where the Lab Testing section did not appear on the facesheet even though the location had a lab interface.
- MAT Orders: Fixed an issue where a Custom Taper or Titration would not accept a day with the same dose amount as the previous day.
