When issues with recurring assessments prevent the assessment for populating at the desired interval, or any time you need to add retroactive documentation, use the following steps to copy the recurring assessment and create a PRN version (e.g., a version of the evaluation you can use as needed).
Copy Recurring Assessment
Super Admins and Users with Manage Templates or Manage Templates - Evaluations can copy the missed recurring assessment:
- Open Templates and choose Evaluations.
- Locate the existing recurring assessment and click the Edit icon.
- Click Create Draft.
- Use the drop-down to select the Draft version.
- Next, update the Name of the form. Consider adding PRN.
- Uncheck the Recurring box.
- Finally, check the Unlink Version box.
- The evaluation can now be added to the patient chart under the chosen Patient tab.
Patient Chart
On the patient chart, open the tab containing the newly created evaluation.
- Click Add form.
- Locate the evaluation and click Add.
- Complete the form, and make sure to backdate it for the missed interval.
- Repeat as needed.
