Templates Overview

The Kipu EMR is highly customizable allowing you to create your own templates for key features throughout the EMR in addition to the available industry-standard content. 

The following items can be customized from the Templates tab: 

• Consent Forms: These templates are typically used typically to create intake paperwork (though not limited to that) and collect patient, guardian, guarantor, and staff signatures.
  • Create a consent form.
  • Edit and manage consent forms.
• Evaluations: These complex forms are designed for patient documentation and allow users to create everything from treatment plans to discharge summaries. These forms can be configured to collect patient/guardian/guarantor, staff, and reviewer signatures based on user profile function. There are several types of evaluations and many evaluation fields. 
  • Create an evaluation template. 
  • Review each evaluation field type.
  • Build a treatment plan template.
  • Set up a master treatment plan. 
  • Build Golden Thread evaluations. 
  • Create Recurring Assessments.
  • Set up conditional logic within your evaluations. 
  • Configure discharge summaries and customize discharge types. 
• Chart✓: Select forms and set completion conditions to manage documents on the patient chart with Chart✓. Click here for instructions.
• Orders: Create your commonly-used Medication Orders, Action Orders (non-medication orders), and collect your orders into a standardized Protocol. 
• Group Sessions: Set up your organization's Group Sessions, which can then use to create as many Schedules as your facility needs. 
• Rounds: Create a Round Template for each of the Rounds that should be observed and documented for each location.
• Outcomes Measurement: Create, edit, or disable your Assessment Programs.
