MAT Clinical Report

MAT Clinical Reports allow users to draw from a broad range of data fields to build customized reports for a variety of purposes.

Required Permissions: Super Admin, Records Admin, and users with the Manage Reports feature can create this report. Users with the View Report feature can view already created reports, but cannot make changes. 

Creating a MAT Clinical Report 

Let's review how to create a MAT report using the Clinical Reports category:

  1. Open the Reports tab and click New Report.
  2. Select Clinical for the report type.

  3. Enter your reporting parameters. mceclip0.png
    1. Report Name
    2. Template: Select Patients.
    3. Sort Direction: Select Ascending or Descending for the report order.
    4. Date Range: Select a date range for this report. Start Date/End Date is only available when a Custom date range is selected. Note: The Current Census option pulls data from all active patients on your current census.
    5. Criteria: Use this drop-down to determine which patients are included in the report based on the date range selected. 
      • Admission Date: Pulls data from charts admitted in the specified date range.
      • Discharge Date: Pulls data from charts discharged in the specified date range.
      • Census: Pulls data from the charts that were in the census in the specified date range.
      • Pre Admission: Pulls data based on the charts that were in pre-admission status during the specified date range.
      • Updated At: Pulls data based on the charts that were updated within the specified date range. 
      • No Show: Pulls data from charts where patients were marked as No Show during the specified date range. This option is only available for MAT facilities. 
      • Expected Patients: Pulls data from patients who are expected in the facility for the date range based on the scheduled days on their insurance authorization.
    6. Selection: Choose to include Patients with MR (admitted), Patients without MR (not admitted), or All Patients.
    7. Determine who can edit the report using the Editable by radio buttons.
      • All: The report can be edited by any user who has access to it.
      • Owner: The report can be edited by the report's creator or a Super Admin that has a direct URL to the report.
    8. Identify who can view the report using the Viewable by radio buttons.
      • All: The report is available under Public Reports for all users who have access to Reports.
      • Owner: The report is available under Private Reports for the current user, or by using the direct URL.
  4. Click Continue to select which fields to include in your report.mceclip1.png
  5. Use the Data Fields Selection to include each field you'd like to see on the report like MR Number, Full Name, Location, etc. The order of the fields selected here is how the fields will display on the report. Use the [drag] indicator to reposition as needed. mceclip3.png
  6. Next, click on the MAT tab and choose which MAT data points you'd like to include in the report.mceclip4.png
    • Current Dose: Displays information from the Dose Field of the patient’s active MAT order 
    • Current Take Outs: Pulls data on the medication(s) the patient is currently authorized to take from the Take Out field of the patient’s Dosing Information 
    • Intake Dose: Records the first dose dispensed from the initial MAT Order 
    • Last Window Date: This option includes the date the patient received the last window dose 
    • Last Window Dose: Provides information about the last dose the patient received at a window  
    • Medication Type: Includes data about the medication on the patient’s active MAT order 
    • Missed Doses Consecutive: Provides the number of recent doses missed in a row from the Dispensed Status field of the patient's MAT Log. 
    • Missed Doses in Last 30 Days: This field displays all doses marked as Missed in the Dispensed Status field of the patient’s MAT Log for the last 30 days. 
    • Missed Doses Total: Pulls the total number of missed doses from the Dispensed Status field of the patient's MAT Log. 
    • Next Window Date: Pulls the date on which the patient is scheduled to receive the next dose of their MAT medication from the active MAT order date field. 
    • Next Window Dose: Displays the amount of mediation the patient will receive on their next window date pulled from the Dose field of the active MAT order. 
    • On Site Days: Indicates the days the patient is scheduled to be on-site based on the active MAT order.  
    • Pending Doses: Shows data on pending doses from the Doses to Dispense section of the MAT Order tab. 
    • Phase: Displays the recovery phase recorded in the Phase section of the active MAT order. 
  7. Click Run Report to view your results. 

Review Report Details

Once the report is run, it will display all the patients and fields that meet the report parameters.

At the top of the report, you have the following action buttons:

  • Update Date Range: Click on this button to make changes to the selected date range.  
  • Edit Report: Click on this button to make changes to the filters as desired.  
  • Export to XLSX/Export to CSV: Use these buttons to export the data to XLSX or CSV by clicking on the desired export option.    
  • Refresh Data: Click on this button to refresh the data in real-time.
