A Super Admin, or a user with the Manage Reports or View Reports features enabled, can pull a report based on med logs or doctor's orders created or started during a set time frame.
Med Log
To generate med log reports, follow these instructions.
- To begin, select the Reports > Medication > Med Log.
- Important
The name of the Med Log tab may be different in your instance if the name has been changed under Settings > Clients. - On the Med Log tab, you can view all med logs in the system and run reports based on criteria of your choice.
- You can create a report of all med logs by clicking Export to XLSX or Export to CSV.
- Alternatively, you can use the search options to create specific reports. You can use any/all of these fields in any combination as needed.
- Patient/MR/ID: If you wish to run a report on a specific patient, you can search for them using their name, MR number or ID.
- Medication/Action: Use this field to run reports for specific medications or actions.
- The Current Census field contains a drop-down list that allows you to choose from the following options:
- Current Census: Select this option if you would like to view results from the current census only.
- Scheduled/PRN Time: Choose this option if you wish to view results with a specific scheduled or PRN time date or date range. If you select this option, the From/To Date fields will become available. Click on the fields to access the calendar.
- Documented At: Choose this option if you wish to view results with a specific documented at date or date range. If you select this option, the From/To Date fields will become available. Click on the fields to access the calendar.
- If you need more advanced search options, click on Advanced Search.

- Taken: Click on Taken to choose from Yes, No, and N/A.
- Type: Select the log type from the Type drop-down.
- Staff: Choose the staff member who created the log from the drop-down.
- Click Search.
- If, at any time, you wish to clear your search criteria, click Clear All Filters.
- Once you have pulled the results you need, you can export the report to XLSX or CSV, or review them in the system. Use the arrows in each column to sort results by that column.
- Finally, you can click on the name of the patient or on their MR number to navigate to their chart.
Doctor's Orders
To create reports for doctor's orders, follow these instructions.
- To begin, navigate to Reports > Medication > Doctor's Orders.
- On the Doctor's Orders tab, you can view all doctor's orders in the system and run reports based on criteria of your choice.
- You can create a report of all orders by clicking Export to XLSX or Export to CSV.
- Alternatively, you can use the search options to create specific reports. You can use any/all of these fields in any combination as needed.
- Patient/MR/ID: If you wish to run a report on a specific patient, you can search for them using their name, MR number or ID.
- Medication/Action: Use this field to run reports for specific medications or actions.
- The Current Census field contains a drop-down list that allows you to choose from the following options:
- Current Census: Select this option if you would like to view results from the current census only.
- Start Date: Select this option if you would like to view results with a specific start date or range. If you select this option, the From/To Date fields will become available. Click on the fields to access the calendar.
- End Date: Select this option if you would like to view results with a specific end date or range. If you select this option, the From/To date fields will become available. Click on the fields to access the calendar.
- Entered At: Select this option if you would like to view results based on the date, or date range, on which the order was signed and created. If you select this option, the From/To date fields will become available. Click on the fields to access the calendar.
- If you need more advanced search options, click on Advanced Search.

- Status: Click on this field and select the Active, Discontinued, or Ended status.
- Type: Click on this field and choose from the order types provided in the drop-down list.
- The Reviewed & Pending field contains a drop-down that allows you to choose from the following review statuses: Reviewed & Pending, Reviewed, and Pending Review.
- Ordered By: If you wish to filter orders by the user who ordered them, click on this field and select the desired user from the drop-down.
- Entered By: If you wish to filter orders by the user who entered them, click on this field and select the desired user from the drop-down.
- Click Search.
- If, at any time, you wish to clear your search criteria, click Clear All Filters.
- Once you have pulled the results you need, you can export the report to XLSX or CSV, or review them in the system. Use the arrows in each column to sort results by that column.
- Finally, you can click on the name of the patient or on their MR number to navigate to their chart.
