How Do I Run a Report for One Location in a Master Instance?

Issue

When I run a report I get all the locations and I only need one.

Environment 

Kipu EMR, Roles: Super Admin & Records Admin, Features: Manage Reports, Clinical Reports

Resolution

To pull one location at a time in a report follow the below steps:

1. Select Reports from the header, then choose either Public or Private depending on how the report is viewed.
2. To that your data is only being pulled from the desired location, you must select the desired Location from the header drop-down. If the report has My Locations selected, the report will pull data from all locations.
3. If the report is already created, select the Edit Pencil to run the report with the single location. If the report is not created, see our article on how to create reports here.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the data options and select the Run Report button.
5. You will be directed to the loading screen and can see that the report shows the location selected in the header.
6. Now your report will only include data for that location. You can continue to use the same report and change locations to get more individual location data, or change to the My Locations option to collect all the data in one report.
