Why is a User Seeing A Blank Screen When I Log Into the Portal?

A portal user is seeing a blank screen when they log into the Portal, how do I fix this issue?

Environment

Kipu EMR, Patient Portal, Roles: Super Admins, Features: Manage Users, Manage Portal Accounts

Solution

This happens when a portal user does not have any charts connected to it.

  1. Navigate to Manage Users > Portal Accounts, set the Census field to All, and search for the portal user’s email address.
  2. Open portal account details and check if this portal user has any Connections.
  3. Find the patient facesheet this portal user is supposed to be connected to
  4. Verify the email address of the patient/contact.
  5. Click on Invite to Portal button.
  6. The patient/contact will need to set their password one more time to re-connect this chart to the portal user. They can use the same password they had before.
