How Do I Add a New Goal to My Problems on the Golden Thread?

Issue

I need to make a new Goal to add to my options on our problem list, how do I do this?

Environment

Kipu EMR, Roles: Super Admin, Settings: Golden Thread

Resolution

A user with the Super Admin role is able to update this within the Settings of the EMR. Follow the below steps to add new goals to your Golden Thread. There are two steps to adding a goal within the Golden thread. Creating the item itself and then attaching it to the Problem List.

Step 1: Creating the Goal

1. Select your initials in the top right of your EMR, then select Settings.
   
2. Within the Settings, select the Golden Thread tab.
   
3. Within the Goals tab, select the New/Edit button.
   
4. Under the Goals column on the right side, select the Add item text next to the Update button.
   
5. Within the new blank box at the top of options type in the Goal you would like to add. Once done select the Update button above it.
   

Step 2: Attaching the new Goal to the Problem List

1. Within the Goals tab, select the Assign button.
   
2. Under the Problem List column locate the Problem you would like to attach the new Goal to and select it. Any already added Goals will show up in the middle column.

   Important
   The list is alphabetical, using the Filter is recommended.

   
   
3. Locate the Goal you created under the right column and select it, then click the Assign Selected button below.

   Important
   The list is alphabetical, using the Filter is recommended.

   
4. The new goal will now show up under the center column.
