How Do I Add a New Objective to My Golden Thread?

Issue

I need to make a new objective to add to my options on our problem list, how do I do this?

Environment

Kipu EMR, Roles: Super Admin, Settings: Golden Thread

Resolution

A user with the Super Admin role is able to update this within the Settings of the EMR. Follow the below steps to add new Objectives to your Golden Thread. There are two steps to adding an Objective within the Golden thread. Creating the item itself and then attaching it to the Problem.

Step 1: Creating an Objective in the Golden Thread

1. Select your Initials in the top right of your EMR, then select Settings.
   
2. Within the Settings, select the Golden Thread tab.
   
3. Select the Objectives tab. Then within the Objectives tab, select the New/Edit button.
   
4. Under the Objectives column on the left side, select the Add item text next to the Update button.
   
5. Within the new blank box at the top of options type in the Objective you would like to add. Once done select the Update button above it.
   

Step 2: Attaching Objectives to the Problem

1. Within the Objectives tab, select the Assign button.
   
2. Under the Problem List column locate the Problem and select it.
   

   Important
   The list is alphabetical, using the Filter is recommended.

   
3. Locate the Objective you created under the right column and select it, then click the Assign Selected button below.

   Important

4. The objective will now show up under the center column for your problem.
