The Sign in any order checkbox allows the guardian/guarantor to sign after the staff user. The Sign in any order option is only available for the Treatment Plan Evaluation Content type.
To use the Sign in any order option, the template requires signature selections for Patient, Guardian and/or Guarantor, Staff, and Review Signature.
When the Sign in any order option is checked in a Treatment Plan template, the first signature must always be done by the Patient, Guardian, or Guarantor. The system enforces the following logic:
- The patient always needs to sign before the staff user
- The reviewer always needs to sign last
- In order to move to the In Use status, the patient, staff, and reviewer must all sign the document.
Note: At this time, signing with PIN does not work for treatment plans with Sign in any order functionality.
