Issue
The Kipu EMR is stuck on a specific patient’s chart and doesn't allow me to navigate to other parts of the application or input notes for my other patients. Logging out and back into the EMR doesn’t resolve the issue, I'm stuck on the same patient chart.

Resolution
This issue occurs when the EMR screen is locked. Locked screens occur when users click on the lock icon at the top right corner of the page while working within a patient's chart, typically when collecting patient signatures or reviewing assessments with the patient.
Locking down the page protects other patients' PHI as well as prohibits the patient from clicking around within the charts.
Use the following instructions to unlock your screen:

Locate the unlocked lock icon and click it.

Next, enter the password you use to log into the Kipu EMR and click Confirm password.

Lastly, to the right of the icon that now should appear locked, click the 2 arrows to return to full screen

After completing these steps, you should be able to navigate the instance as normal and the icon should be 4 arrows and a locked icon.
