I Accidentally Clicked the Restrict All Users Box on a Patient’s Facesheet, How Can Fix It?

Issue

When updating a patient's facesheet I accidentally clicked the Restrict All users "Care Team not included". How do I undo this so my staff can see the patient again?

Environment

Kipu EMR, Role: Super Admin, Chart: Facesheet/Information Tab, User Profile

Resolution

One user with the Super Admin Role will need to update their own User Profile first to be able to locate the patient chart to correct this. Please follow the steps below.

  1. Select your Initials in the top right corner, then go to Manage Users.
  2. Locate your User Profile and click the Edit button.
  3. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click Load Restricted Patients.
  4. Click the X next to the patient's name, then click the Update button.
  5. Go back to the client's chart and select the Edit Patient button.
  6. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the facesheet, unclick the Restrict All users "Care Team not included" box (make sure the box unchecked), and select the Update button.
  7. The patient will now appear on the main landing page.
