Quickly Export the Current Census

Issue

Sometimes users need to export the current census list to filter items not readily available on the Patients page. The Kipu EMR allows a way to quickly export the current census to an Excel spreadsheet for further manipulation.

Environment

Kipu EMR, Patients tab, Census List View

Resolution

To export the patients listed on the landing page, follow the simple steps below.

1. Open the Patients tab which automatically opens to the Census.
2. From the Census, click on the 4 horizontal lines on the top right to display the list view.
3. Once on the list view, scroll to the very bottom of the page, and click on the Export to XLS link.
4. This will download an Excel spreadsheet with all the current patients in the census. All the columns in the list view will be present on the Excel spreadsheet.
5. From here, you can filter by items such as Level of care, Insurance, Therapist, and Age.
