I accidently readmitted a patient twice. How do I delete the duplicate? [Delete Episode of Care]

Issue

A patient was readmitted twice, creating two episodes of care for the same admission date.

Environment

KIPU EMR, Facesheet, Super Admin or Records Admin

Resolution

  1. Go to the affected patient's chart.
  2. Select the duplicate episode of care from the dropdown that you want to delete.
  3. Click on the Edit Patient button.


  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the facesheet and click on the red X to delete this episode of care.
    1. Note: This action will only delete the episode of care you are currently on and not the entire chart.
