How can I update my scheduler view so that appointments don't visually overlap?

Our facility uses shorter intervals for appointments and the Scheduler looks like appointments are overlapping now, how do we change this view?

Environment

Kipu EMR, Settings > Scheduler, Scheduler Role: Super Admin/Feature: Manage Schedule Settings

Resolution

The scheduler was originally meant to be viewed in 30-minute intervals, but facilities can schedule their appointments in a vast array of intervals. If you don't change the settings from the original 20-minute interval, appointments can appear to overlap, which makes it difficult to see which timeslots have been booked.

Super Admins and users with the Manage Scheduler Settings feature enabled will be able to adjust the necessary Scheduler preferences under Settings. Follow the steps below to change the Calendar View.

  1. Select your initials in the top right corner, and click on Settings.
  2. Then select the Scheduler tab.
  3. Next, click on the the Scheduler Preferences option. Depending on the width of your screen, you may need to click on the arrow button.

  4. Scroll to the Calendar View section and choose 15 Minute(s) from the Time Scale Increments drop-down option.
  5. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and click the Save button.
