Issue
I need to print the doctor's orders to send with my patient who is going to the hospital.
Environment
Kipu EMR, PDFs, Roles: Super Admin, Records Admin, Medical Roles, Feature: Manage Pharmacy Orders
Resolution
There are two ways to print out a PDF of the doctor's orders, the first option is a less detailed view, while the second option shows all the details of the order.
Quick Print PDF Option:
- From the landing page, select the patient whose form you need to print and navigate to the Doctor's Orders tab.
- In the top right of the chart select the single PDF icon with no pages behind it.
- A new window will pop up with the patient's current medications list as a PDF that you can print out.
Print the Detailed PDF
A Super Admin, or a user with the ability to create PDF templates, will need to create the PDF package that will be chosen when pulling the PDF. To learn more about creating a PDF Package, click here.
