Schedule any report to run and export in CSV format automatically to an SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) destination of your choice. You will need to use your own SFTP directory as Kipu doesn't provide one.
Super Admins at your facility can create a konnector for the report(s):
- To begin, click on your initials and then click Settings.
- Then click the Konnectors tab.
- Click New Konnector.
- Name the konnector, select Scheduled Report from the Konnector Type drop-down, and click Register.
- For users with a master instance, please select the locations you want to include in the report.
- The Select report list contains any reports from the Public or Private Reports tabs. Use the checkboxes to select one or more reports.
- The reports available on the Medication, Billing Audit Tool, Outcomes, BI, and Flags report tabs are not available for scheduling.
- Enter your SFTP credentials and settings (make sure you can connect to your SFTP server using FTP clients):
- Server: Your SFTP server address or IP
- Port: Kipu only allows connection on port 22.
- Username: The SFTP server credentials. The username must have read and write permissions for your SFTP directory.
- Password
- Path to Results: The directory in your SFTP server where Kipu can upload the report(s). The path is case-sensitive.
- Recurring Rule: Select Daily, Weekly, or One Time. The weekly report will run on the same day the konnector was created. If you want reports delivered every Thursday, please create the konnector on a Thursday.
- Run At: Select the time when the report should be run.
-
Date Range: Select None, Previous Day, Current Week, Last Week, Last 2 Weeks, Current Month, or Last Month.
- Note: The None date range will automatically generate the data for the previous day if Daily recurrence is selected (with whatever report criteria is selected in the report's settings).
- Click Update to save the changes.
- Once you save the changes, click Test Connection to make sure Kipu can connect to your SFTP server.
- If successful, you'll receive the following message.
- After you receive the successful connection message, check the Enabled box at the top of the page to begin the recurring report delivery.
If you need the reports to be generated multiple times a day, you can create separate konnectors for each scheduled report occurrence.
Scheduled Report Notifications
You can configure a Scheduled Report Failed Notification for each Location where you have scheduled reports configured. This notification will show the name of the scheduled report konnector that failed to produce the scheduled report and the related error message.
