November 2025 Release Notes

  • Updated

14.67.0.0 - November 30, 2025

New

  • Billing: Added an information icon in the expanded view of OBOT billing items to flag when the Transmit Individual Services option is enabled. Check out this article for more information on OBOT payer rules.
  • Group Note Assistant: Updated the behavior of the Partial status so it will appear any time the patient’s time no longer matches the group session (such as when a patient arrives late or leaves a group session early), as well as when segments are used. For more information on the Group Note Assistant click here.
  • Labs: We’ve added a new lab role, Restrict unreviewed lab reports, which prevents users from accessing lab reports until a provider reviews and signs them. This behavior helps facilities that require providers to interpret all lab results before anyone else can view them, supporting patient safety, proper medication management, and reducing the risk of acting on incomplete information. For more information on Labs users, check out this article.
  • Labs: We’ve updated the layout of our Dymo labels to make specimen identification easier. Check out this article for more information on Dymo labels.

    The new labels now include:

    • First and Last name
    • Date of Birth
    • MR Number (new!)
    • Collection date and time (new!)
    • Location name/Location alias (new!)
    • Lab Account (new!)
  • MAT Orders: Order Notes are now displayed when hovering over the Instructions field in the Order History.
  • MAT Labels: We added the ability to print Bulk Labels for users who package medication by strength and include multiple doses per bottle. Check out this article for more information about dispensing unit inventory.
  • Settings: You can now map your custom Race values to a set of standard options, ensuring consistent data across reports and integrations. The Standard Value is required when adding or editing the list. For more information on patient settings, check out this article.
  • Settings: You can now map your custom Ethnicity values to a set of standard options, ensuring consistent data across reports and integrations. The Standard Value is required when adding or editing the list. For more information on patient settings, check out this article.
  • Unit Inventory: A new Reports tab has been added to generate summaries of the units available in the Current Unit Inventory. The report provides totals per unit amount for all medications and totals per mediation for non-pump medications only. For more information on the new Reports tab, click here.

  • Unit Inventory: A new option, “Dispense unassigned doses for expected patients”, has been added in Settings > MAT > Location Settings

This setting allows users to prepare unassigned units in Unit Inventory based on expected doses. When enabled, the Unit Dispensing session will display all expected doses to be prepared as unassigned.

Units will be automatically assigned to patients when the user dispenses the doses from the dispensing screen, and the lot number assigned to each dose will be displayed in the Dispense From column. Check out this article for more information.

    • Note: This setting is visible only to Kipu staff and does not affect existing orders.

Default template settings can be manually updated under Settings > User. Check out this article for more information on creating/editing users.
  • Permissions: Added a new pop-up reminder to let individuals managing permissions know that if they assign a Chart Snapshot or Chart Assistant license, the user will have access to all of the information in the patient chart (even if their regular permissions do not allow for it). Check out this article for more information on assigning Kipu Intelligence user roles.
  • Settings: Created a new user function template page, under Settings > Users, where roles can be edited and saved for future use. Check out this article for more information.
