• Diagnosis Codes: The DSM-V diagnoses have been updated to reflect the September 2024 Supplement to Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Health Disorders, Fifth Edition, Text Revision. For more information about diagnosis codes, click here.

Fixed

• Facesheet: Fixed an issue where users could not access the Information tab for some charts (and were sent back to the landing page). The issue occurred in the chart after someone deleted a patient’s contact assigned as Lab Guarantor or Lab Guardian (for clients using LabCorp).
• Billing: Fixed an issue that caused the Building assignment to be off by one day in the Billing Report.

• Billing: The “Billing provider is missing NPI number.” error has been updated so that it can be changed to a warning or disabled in Settings. For more information on billing errors, click here.
• Billing: Enhanced the Billed, Do Not Bill, and Batch Reports views to show the Billing Provider if the transmission status is pending. Check out this article for more information on billing reports.

Fixed

• Billing: Fixed an edge case where duration could become out of sync in the database for a billable item on the initial creation or deletion.

• Billing: Fixed an issue where the Billing Report was bypassing the Provider Settings when the Billing Provider for locations with Billing by Building or Billing by Program was enabled.

• Billing: Enhanced the Batch Search View to maintain search results if a batch is deleted. For more information on billing reports, click here.
• Billing: We have refined the error messages on post-transmission billed items to improve user understanding of where the errors occurred. Check out this article for Avea post-transmission errors, and this article for CMD post-transmission errors.
• Billing: Disabled templates under Templates > Group Sessions will be hidden by default for users who can show disabled templates. This update will help users manage their group sessions more efficiently and improve page load time. Click here for more information on Group Session templates. 
• Billing: We’ve added the Ancillary column to the data table view under Templates > Group Sessions. This view is available for customers using integrated billing and will make it easier to identify which templates include ancillary items. Click here for more information on Group Session templates.
• Billing: We've added the ability to delete an errored item in the Batch Search > Claims view. For more information on batches, check out the relevant section of this article.
• Labs: We’ve improved the time it takes to synchronize changes for the lab interface (like adding a new ordering physician or changing the list of available tests). This update should reduce the number of stuck requisitions due to the “Out of Sync” error.
• Medication/Action and ePrescribe Order Frequency Settings: We’ve improved the Medication/Action and Settings ePrescribe order frequency windows by replacing the current details display with a cleaner list view and adding a new search functionality. Fixed

• eRx: Fixed an issue where taper orders sent to Rcopia didn't display the correct amount of films and changed when orders should be separated in Rcopia.
• eRx: Fixed an issue where eRx accounts were disabled after updates to the Kipu profile.
• Evaluations: Fixed an issue where evaluations displayed a discrepancy in allergy information in the Edit and Print views.

• Login: Fixed an issue where some users incorrectly received the error message “Login Failed. Invalid username or password. Max attempts exceeded. Please try again in 30 minutes.” Users will not longer experience this error unless their account is locked or disabled.

• Billing: Added the ability to download the batch HL7 file for batches sent to Avea and/or CMD. This element was only previously available for HL7 Billing Type locations. For more information on Batch reports, check out this article.

• Billing: Added the ability to download the ADT HL7 file from the External Apps section of the patient facesheet. 

Fixed

• Billing: Fixed an issue where the batch search Claims view included Do Not Bill items not visible in the batch itself.
• Inventory: Fixed an issue where an eRx order without a strength numerical value prevented inventory from being added.
• Med Log/MAR: Fixed an issue where eRx PRN medications with no strength associated could not be administered in the MAR.
• Phase Reports: Fixed an issue where units for Individual session was showing count instead of Hours.

• Billing: Updated the Do Not Bill Report Excel and CSV export file name for accuracy and clarity.

Fixed

• Login: Fixed an issue that stopped locked user accounts from unlocking after 30 minutes.
• MAT Phases: Fixed an issue where bi-monthly, quarterly, and yearly frequencies displayed a letter in the Required field instead of a number.

New

• Billing: Enhanced billing logic around an edge case issue so that if a location has two inpatient LOCs set up and switches from one to the other on a patient’s chart, the system properly updates the billing provider method. Previously, the system did not refresh the autopopulation logic, and the old billing provider remained on the chart after the update.
• Billing: We have enhanced the error checking for customers using the Bill By Building feature a red error appears if no building is selected for a billable item at a location with the feature enabled. This update brings this feature in line with our Billing By Program feature. For more information on billing errors check out this article.
• Billing: Per diem billable items in the pending authorization status will no longer apply the "Insurance is missing on this date" error when the patient has active insurance on file that covers the dates of service. This change will help billers filter their work for larger facilities by eliminating navigation touchpoints.
• Evaluations: Script tags <script> can no longer be used in evaluations for formatting purposes.
• eRx Rcopia: Order templates now display as “eRx valid” when they have all the information required to be sent to Rcopia as prescriptions. Check out the Quick Orders section of this article for more information. Additionally, when creating Quick Orders, validated templates will display an Rx icon to indicate they are ready to be sent to Rcopia.

• PDF Packages and Casefiles: Fixed issues surrounding PDFs containing consent forms and evaluations with multiple versions

• 2FA: Two-factor authentication configuration is now available. With this update, Super Admins can configure how often they want their users to perform two-factor authentication. As a result, you can decide how frequently users will be prompted to align with your organization’s security standards. For more information, click here.
• Billing: Yellow dots on the billing report will remain a static yellow instead of pulsing. For more information on billing warnings and errors, check out this article.

• Billing: Changed the verbiage of LOC Type to Billing Type when expanding a billable item to more accurately reflect the value displayed.

• Billing: We have removed the 5-minute delay that occurred for integrated billing customers relying on MAR billable items. This update will help billers stay more up-to-date with clinical changes.

• Doctor's Orders (Rcopia): Added an alert when creating eRx orders that require additional adjustments in Rcopia because the unit field contains (s) so orders can be adjusted from Kipu before submission. For more information on creating Rcopia prescription orders in the EMR, click here.
• Generative AI Early Access: We enhanced the process so that workflows are more cohesive and forms are easier to fill out.

Fixed

• Billing: Fixed an order of events issue where a denied service auth was sometimes not applied to a matching billable ancillary item.
• Billing: Fixed an issue that sometimes interchanged the payor synonym and payor name on the results display when searching for a payor in Payor Settings. This fix should result in less confusion for your front desk staff.
• Billing: Fixed an issue that prevented the payor synonym from properly displaying for customers with payor synonyms set up.
• Billing: Fixed the new “Billing provider is missing NPI” red error so that it also accounts for customers who use provider settings but are not using bill by building or bill by program.
• Billing: Enhanced the Billing Report Payor Search so that it only yields results for the selected payor. Previously, if two or more payors had the same internal ID, the results returned included multiple payors instead of just the specified payor.
• Integrated Assessments: Fixed an issue where users could not delete specific weight and height entries. This issue usually occurred when two logs were entered close in time, one after another.
• Labs: Fixed an issue where users could not deselect test orders during the requisition creation process and got a “spinning wheel” on the Requisition page.
• Medication Reports: Improved performance when retrieving filters in advanced search and addressed a query issue that caused Medication Reports to load slowly.
• MAT Orders: Fixed an issue under Medications Reports > MAT Orders where some dispensed doses did not display the dispensed date and time.
