Scheduler Release 1.9 - May 30, 2024
New
-
New Spacing Created on Calendar View to Easily Add Overlapping Appointments: There is now an extra open space to the right of each appointment card in all Scheduler calendar views. When a user double clicks there the Add Appointment window will open and pre-fill the date and time fields with the selected date and time.
- Time and Date Formats to Automatically Adjust Based on the Instance Settings: Clients with unique time and date formats set up for their instance (such as 24-hour time displays and MM/DD/YYYY) will see those formats on all Scheduler views as well as in all email and text communications. This update will help prevent confusion for clients who do not use metric formats in Kipu.
-
Quickly Add an Appointment directly from an existing Appointment Card: Users will now see a new Add Appointment button on all single client appointments. Clicking on it will open the Add Appointment screen with the Location, Client, and Resource fields pre-filled. This enhancement will help save time when scheduling appointments. For more information, click here.
Fixed
- Add Appointment Icon: Fixed an issue where the drop-down arrow on the Add Appointment card disappeared when the web browser was zoomed in.
- Appointment Communications for Client Contacts: Fixed an issue where patient contacts weren’t sent appointment communications if they were added to the appointment.
- Appointment Type Filter: Fixed an issue where, when a user had an appointment type(s) selected in the Appointment Type Filter, some appointment types would appear and disappear when selecting another location.
13.6.0.3 - May 24, 2024
Fixed
- Billing: Fixed an issue where the billing code would occasionally not save on group sessions causing billers to manual use the Edit Claim window to choose the correct billing code.
- Calendar: Fixed an issue where users with Manage Schedule permissions got an occasional error when accessing the Appointments tab in the patient’s chart.
13.6.0.2 - May 23, 2024
New
- Billing: Clinicians can now set service-specific diagnosis codes on ancillary evaluation templates. Check out this article for more information.
13.6.0.1 - May 20, 2024
Fixed
- Billing: Fixed an issue where the building on a billable item sometimes did not match the building history on the facesheet. This issue usually occurred when a user used the Delete Building History feature together with specific data history. This fix should ensure the data stays in sync in that scenario to reduce errors and save time.
- Login: Fixed a login issue where users with invalid DrFirst configurations were blocked from using the EMR.
- MARs: Fixed an issue where backdated orders in the MAR started late.
13.6.0.0 - May 14, 2024
New
- Billing: Updated the Billing Provider Settings to the new styling for consistency across the platform. Check out our provider settings article here.
- Billing: Updated the VOBGetter automatic weekly monitoring service to improve stability and address behavior where it would fail for no reason. These changes will result in a more consistent experience so that UR members do not need to re-run the VOB Getter manually. For more information on the VOB Getter click here.
- Billing: The expanded display for billable days that do not require documentation now includes the title so that billers can easily double-check that it is correct, increasing efficiency.
- Billing: Made minor updates that will improve the experience for users participating in the Warnings and Errors beta and using a large number of disabled warnings. Click here for more information on the beta.
-
Billing: Billers can now assign modifiers based on place of service in a payor's billing rules so that they no longer need to be manually added every time. Click here for more information.
-
Billing: The Insurance Priority values Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary can no longer be deleted from the system to maintain data integrity for integrated billing customers and ensure that insurance is automatically mapped correctly. For more information, click here.
- Billing: POC Laboratory services and Per Diem services can now be assigned a default ancillary connector so that they are automatically routed to that destination upon transmission. This update fully automates a manual billing process. For more information, check out our article on billing services settings here.
- Billing: Improved the handling of batch transmission so that pending batches smoothly resume and complete following network errors, reducing the number of batches getting stuck in the “pending” state and causing delays.
- Billing: Rolled out automatic end date calculation to the Service Review pop-up window previously implemented in the Auth Review pop-up window to improve charting efficiency for the UR team. For more information, check out this article.
- eRx [Rcopia]: Added a location validation in single instances where users must have a location selected before they can be assigned the Prescription Portal role. For more information on Rcopia specific roles click here, and for instructions on adding locations to a user see step 6 here.
- eRx [Rcopia] Complex Meds: Prescriptions created in Rcopia without doses, units, or frequency information will now be routed to the unprocessed prescriptions section in Kipu so that the missing information can be added. Additionally, prescriptions will be routed to unprocessed prescriptions when the “then” conjunction is used in multiple instruction lines with no duration selected for each sig. Click here for more information on complex meds.
- MAT Pre-Pour: Users can now retroactively assign pre-pour units to patients with doses marked as Not Dispensed to clean up records of doses dispensed to a patient but not marked as dispensed at the time. The MAT Log will say Marked Given followed by the date and time in the Dispense Date/Time to indicate that they were marked as dispensed after the fact. Click here for more information.
- MAT Orders: Drug-drug and drug-allergy alerts will now appear while creating or editing MAT orders. Click here for more information.
Fixed
- Billing: Fixed an issue where updates made to the Diagnosis Codes in the Edit Claim Modal were not saving correctly.
- Billing: Fixed the location and building logic for billable items when there are two locations and/or buildings with the same start date so that the system chooses the more recently logged item. This update is intended to eliminate the need to manually delete rows on the Location History pop-up to associate billing items with the right location/building.
- Call Backs: Fixed an issue where call backs were generated when there was an end date for the current active order or a patient discharge date fell within the current interval. Call backs will no longer be generated when either scenario occurs.
- eRx Rcopia: Fixed an issue where prescriptions entered by a clinical staff user were displayed as entered by the provider after the prescription was signed.
- Inventory: Inventory will now be linked to orders regardless of capitalization.
- MAT Dosing: Fixed an issue where the Undispensed Doses Alert appeared when dosing a patient with no other pending doses.
- Populate Forms: Fixed a bug where the Populate Forms button occasionally showed a loading bar indefinitely until the user manually refreshed the page.
13.5.0.6 - May 3, 2024
Fixed
- eRx [Rcopia]: Fixed an issue where prescriptions with refills didn’t appear in the MAR on the days where they should appeared to be refilled.
