How Do I Change the Order That My Forms Populate Into a Chart?

Issue

I need my consent and/or evaluation forms show up in a specific order but can't figure out how to do that.

Environment

Kipu EMR, Templates: Consents, Templates: Evaluations, Super Admin Role, Features: Manage Templates

Resolution

You can choose the order of your consent forms using one of the following options: custom sort order, alphabetically by name, or by process tab order.

Select the Templates tab, and then Consent forms or Evaluations.
If your organization has a specific order they want consent forms to be added, we recommend using the Custom Sort Order. To update the order, use the [drag] icons to reposition the form into your desired order.
- Tip: The name at the end of the form in italics is the patient tab where the form appears (e.g., Admission). You may find it helpful to collect all forms within the same patient tab together and then set the default sort order within that group.
You can sort by Name which sorts all forms alphabetically, regardless of tab location.
Selecting Process Tab Order will group the forms by the tab starting with Chart setup. For instructions on changing this order, check out our article on Patient Processes.
Any time you change the sort order (e.g., from Name to Process Tab Order), please click Save Sort Order to ensure your selection is saved/maintained or the order will revert back when you leave the page.
