How Do I Filter the Census on the Landing Page?

The Patients tab, which defaults to showing the current census, can be filtered for efficiency and convenience. 

Environment

Kipu EMR; Admission Coordinators, Clinical Directors, Housing Coordinators, All Internal Roles

Resolution

There are multiple options to filter the landing page based on need. 

  1. The filter options can be found on the right of your Census page. These are hard-coded filter buttons, meaning they cannot be changed.
    • Required Permissions: The Review filter is only available for users with the Super Admin or UR Internal/External roles.
  2. You can choose the desired date range for your Arriving, Discharge, and Review filters by clicking on the title of the filter section. 
  3. Next, set your Start and End Date ranges.
  4. Users can also filter the landing page census by patient Program. Patient Programs can be customized in settings and assigned to patients. Click here to learn more. 
  5. Users can further filter the landing page census by creating Custom Filters. The Custom Filters section can filter by tags or tag groups. Click here to learn more.
