Issue
The form template draft I created does not appear in the list of templates but does appear as an option when I click Add Forms, which it shouldn't.
Environment
Kipu EMR, Templates > Evaluations, Templates > Consents, Role: Super Admin, Feature: Manage templates - consents and evaluations
Resolution
This issue occurs when a draft is made of a form where the Unlink Version option was checked but the Make in Use option was not.
To locate the missing form you will need to locate the template ID in a report.
- Add the errant form to a test patient.
- Go to the Reports tab and select the New Report button.
- Choose the Clinical report type.
- Give your report a name then choose Patient Evaluations from the Template drop-down, change the Date range to Today, and select All from the Criteria drop-down. Then click the Continue button.
- Choose the checkbox(s) for key identifiers like MR and/or Full Name in the Data Fields Selection so you can identify your test patient and find the form easily in the report.
- Click on the Run Report button found at the bottom of the page.
- Once the report has been pulled select the Export To XLSX button on the top right.
- Make sure to enable editing when you open the Excel file. If the Excel file doesn't open automatically, look for it in your computer's Downloads folder.
- Select the triangle symbol in the top left corner where Row 1 and Column A meet to highlight every row and column in the Excel file.
- Select the Data option in the top toolbar and then the Filter option. You will now have a drop-down for each column.
- Use either the MR or Full Name column to locate the test patient. Once you have found the test patient, select the row number to highlight it all the way across the document.
- Scroll to the right until you find the Template ID. Either write down the number or use ctrl + c/command +c to copy the number.
- Return to Templates tab in the Kipu EMR.
- Click on the edit pencil next to any form.
- Look for the web address at the top of your browser that has your Kipu EMR followed by evaluations or consents, then the Template ID and last edit, all separated by the / symbol.
- Example: instance-master.kipuworks.com/evaluations/123/edit
- Replace the Template ID number (here 890) with the one you found in your report (here 2199) and push Enter on your keyboard.
- You will now be taken to the missing draft. Select the Make in use box to make the draft a normal form.
- The form will now appear in your Templates list.
